The main task of this paper is to, on high – quality and concrete way, show similarity and difference between law, faith and religionin many different states, starting from, first states those in prehistory Mesopotamic, to USSR in 20th cenutry. Also, the main task of this paper is to show development of the states, respectively law and religion in those states and perennially fights between state and church, also tirelessly fight for predominance in the eyes, head and lives of individual. Law and religion are all around us, from the beginning and probbably forever. It is impossible to era dicate faith, believers and religion as a phenomenon and human need. Individuals had searched faiht and comfort in many difficult times, also theirs spiritual leader which who they can offer sacrifice as a thanks and faith in better tommorow, so it is i na ccordance with that the development of the religion has started. Law, on theotherhand, has always tried to sabotage Church and faith and to exclude it from the political matters, but that is a hard task because Church is a powerfull institution and any other event except Great Schismin 1054th hasn't seriouslly shaked her let alone extinguish or destroy.
