Abstract
Politrauma se ubraja među najkompliciranija stanja u kojima se ljudski organizam može naći. Za vrijeme proživljavanja politraume organizam prolazi niz patofizioloških procesa koji zahtijevaju znanje i vještine osoba koje sudjeluju u liječenju i zbrinjavanju. Stoga je liječenje politraumatiziranoga bolesnika jedno od najsloženijih u suvremenoj medicini. Prilikom liječenja od velike pomoći su algoritmi, čijom se primjenom postižu bolji rezultati. Osnovni princip liječenja jest da ono počinje na mjestu nesreće, traje tijekom transporta i nastavlja se u bolnici uz poštovanje principa dijagnostike i liječenja. U samo zbrinjavanje politraumatiziranoga bolesnika uključen je cijeli tim koji je povezan sa hitnom pomoći te ostalim stručnjacima. Potrebna je stalna edukacija zdravstvenih radnika putem tečajeva traume i naprednog održavanja života. Pridržavanjem tih postupaka u zbrinjavanju smanjiti će se mogućnost komplikacija, ubrzati oporavak bolesnika te smanjiti invalidnost. Rehabilitacija politraumatiziranoga bolesnika orijentirana je na respiratornu fizioterapiju u jedinici intenzivnoga liječenja bez obzira da li bolesnik samostalno diše ili je disanje potpomognuto nekim od oblika mehaničke ventilacije. Cilj rada je prikazati postupak zbrinjavanja politraumatiziranoga bolesnika od trenutka nesreće do liječenja i rehabilitacije.
Abstract (english)
Polytrauma is one of the most complicated states in which a human body can be found. During the polytrauma, body runs a series of pathophysiological processes that require the knowledge and skills of the people involved in the treatment and care. Therefore, the treatment of a traumatized patient is one of the most complex in modern medicine. Algorithms are of great help in treating them, and their application improves the results. The basic principle of treatment is that it begins at the place of an accident, lasts during transport and continues in the hospital respecting the principles of diagnosis and treatment. The care of traumatized patient involves the entire emergency team and other experts. Continuous education of health workers is needed through trauma courses and advanced life-sustaining. Maintaining these care procedures will reduce potencial complications, speed up patient recovery and reduce disability. Rehabilitation of a polytraumatized patient is oriented to respiratory physiotherapy in the intensive care unit regardless of whether the patient is self-breathing or breathing is assisted by some of the forms of mechanical ventilation. The aim of this article is to present the procedure for the treatment of polytraumatized patients from the moment of the accident to the treatment and rehabilitation.
