Abstract Tema rada je vanjska politika Kine i prisutnost na afričkom kontinentu.
kojim Kina predstavlja samu sebe svojim „No approach“ angažmanom, a koji pobliže opisuje
U pravilu,
Kinom.
Abstract (english) The theme of the paper is China's foreign policy and presence on the African continent. At the
beginning of this paper, modern China-Africa relations are explained, how they started, who are
the key people and actors who founded modern relations. The approach of Chinese foreign
policy towards African countries is described, ie the way in which Beijing is developing a
dialogue with African governments. It concerns the attitude by which China presents itself with
its "No approach" engagement, which describes in more detail China's distance from the internal
affairs of African countries. Also, how Chinese foreign policy has become one of the key drivers
of development in Africa and through the system of assistance and donations has gained strategic
partners through which it is maintained on the global stage. The central part of the paper is based
on how China realizes quality cooperation with African countries. In general, data on the
development of trade and the dynamics of China's partnerships with certain African countries are
given. One of the key strategic goals in Africa is the demand for natural resources, so the main
exporters of African raw materials to China are mentioned, to what extent natural resources are
exported to China compared to other goods, and where most Chinese investments go in terms of
mineral resources. And to make the whole system work efficiently, examples of infrastructure
ventures funded and implemented by Chinese companies are given. The foundations of future
China-Africa cooperation are described in FOCAC. The final part of the paper is dedicated to the
perspective of Chinese engagement in the eyes of the African population, but also of individual
African authorities. The issue of Taiwan was also mentioned, which also did not bypass Africa,
and equally contributed to shaping Africa's relations with China.
