Quantum computing is a technology that announces significant advances compared to classical computing. It uses quantum bits, or qubits, for data processing, and is based on the principles of quantum mechanics. By using quantum superposition and entanglement, these computers can process large amounts of data and run far more efficient algorithms, leading to the potential for exponential acceleration in solving certain problems.
