Abstract U uvodu rada nalaze se osnovni pojmovi poduzetništva, kao i njegovo značenje prema starijim i novijim teorijama. S obzirom na temu mojeg rada važna je i razlika između ženskog i muškog poduzetništva, koja je također obrazložena prema mišljenjima autora. U razradi teme navedene su i opisane karakteristike ženskog poduzetništva i prepreke s kojima se žene poduzetnice susreću. S obzirom na sve veći broj žena poduzetnica, navedeni su razlozi njihovog sve većeg uključenja u suvremeni menadžment. Žene menadžeri prema hijerarhijskoj strukturi još uvijek većinom zauzimaju niže pozicije, a muškarci više pozicije menadžmenta. Isto tako se razlikuje njihovo zaposlenje s obzirom na djelatnosti, u kojima žene još uvijek prednjače u tzv. ženskim poslovima. Također, prema analizi rezultata ankete opisan je odnos žena poduzetnica i obitelji. Navedeni su statistički podaci poduzetnica u svijetu i opisani primjeri nekoliko uspješnih poduzetnica. Osim svjetskih žena poduzetnica, navedeni su i primjeri poduzetnica u Hrvatskoj, čiji broj s godinama sve više raste. U trećem poglavlju riječ je o prvim udruženjima žena poduzetnica i njihov razvoj i širenje, gdje su navedeni i primjeri programa za poticanje i razvoj ženskog poduzetništva. Tako i Hrvatska politika promovira žene poduzetnice putem raznih poticaja koje im nudi, od financijskih sredstava, do edukacija, seminara i usavršavanja kroz razne treninge i mentorstva. Udruge žena povezane su sa svjetskim organizacijama, koje pomažu ženama u poduzetništvu ali i motiviraju buduće poduzetnice kroz primjere u praksi koje su dokaz pozitivnih rezultata i ostvarenje ciljeva. I u zaključnom dijelu ukratko su opisani svi zaključci razrade ove teme, a onaj najvažniji je da su žene itekako sposobne biti poduzetnice te da su upravo one kao takve potrebne za daljnji razvoj gospodarstva.
Abstract (english) In the summary are stated basic terms of enterpreneurship so as meaning respectively to new and traditional theories. Considering the subject of my work, the difference between female and male entrepreneurship is also important, which is also justified by the authors' opinions. In the paper, the characteristics of female entrepreneurship and the obstacles that women entrepreneurs encounter are described. Given the growing number of women entrepreneurs, the reasons for their growing involvement in modern management are listed. Women managers by hierarchical structure still mostly occupy lower positions, and men have more higher managerial positions. Similarly, their employment differs from those in which women still predominate in so-called " Women's affairs“. Also, according to the analysis of the survey results, the relationship of women entrepreneurs and families is described. The statistics of entrepreneurs in the world are described and examples of several successful entrepreneurs are described. In addition to the world women entrepreneurs, there are also examples of entrepreneurs in Croatia, the number of which is growing. In the third chapter, they are the first associations of women entrepreneurs and their development and dissemination, where examples of programs for the promotion and development of women entrepreneurship are also mentioned. Thus, Croatian politics promotes women entrepreneurs through various incentives they offer, from financial resources to education, seminars and training through various trainings and mentoring. Women's associations are associated with world organizations that help women in entrepreneurship, but also motivate future entrepreneurs through examples in practice that are evidence of positive results and achievement of goals. And in the final section, all the conclusions of this topic are described briefly and the most important thing is that women are very capable of being entrepreneurs and that they are exactly what is needed to develop the economy of future.
