Abstract U ovom završnom radu fokus će biti usmjeren na turizam u Hrvatskoj. Prvi dio rada obraditi će važnosti i svrhu poslovnog planiranja, dok će se drugi dio rada fokusirati na turizam u Hrvatskoj u općenitom smislu. Rad će obraditi ljetni i zimski turizam, kao i turizam u gradu Zagrebu, koji je naveden kao dobar primjer razvoja kontinentalnog turizma, a obrađeno je i područje ruralnog turizma u Hrvatskoj. Kroz dva spomenuta godišnja doba, zajedno s primjerima i osvrtom na granu ruralnog turizma, dan je opći prikaz uspješnosti i razvoja turizma u Hrvatskoj. Ukratko je opisana povijest turizma na našim ruralnim prostorima kao i mogućnosti i pretpostavke razvoja ruralnog turizma u Hrvatskoj. Isto tako je predstavljen i konkretan primjer seoskog tj. ruralnog turizma u Hrvatskoj. Nadalje, u zadnjem dijelu rada odabran je otok Krk kao primjer održivog poslovnog plana. Otok Krk jedan je od najrazvijenijih otoka u RH po pitanju razvoja turističke ponude te su u ovom radu, a na temelju Krka i njegove turističke ponude, prikazani primjeri što i kako treba poduzeti, a u cilju ostvarenja poslovnih ciljeva, koji će rezultirati povećanjem gostiju u destinaciji i produljenjem same turističke sezone. Kroz poslovni plan otoka Krka obrađena su područja kao što su ponuda i potražnja, cijene, klijenti, konkurencija, vizija i misija otoka Krka, marketing i marketinško pozicioniranje. Plan završava kratkim sažetkom, odnosno pregledom svega što otok Krk nudi, dok je na kraju rada jasan zaključak u kojemu će čitatelji ukratko moći saznati sve ono što je važno u skladu s temom ovog završnog rada.
Abstract (english) In this final paper, the focus will be on tourism in Croatia. The first part of the paper will present the importance and purpose of business planning, while the second part of the paper will focus on Croatian tourism in general. The paper will cover summer and winter tourism as well as tourism in the city of Zagreb, which is mentioned as a good example of the development of continental tourism. Furthermore, some examples of the rural tourism in Croatia will also be presented. Through the two mentioned seasons, together with examples and reviews on the rural tourism sector, a general overview of the success and development of tourism in Croatia is given. Also, a brief description of the history of tourism in the rural areas as well as the possibilities and assumptions of the development of rural tourism in Croatia is given. Furthermore, the island of Krk was selected as an example of a sustainable business plan in the latter part of the work. The island of Krk is one of the most developed islands in the Republic of Croatia with regard to the development of tourist offers. Based on the island Krk and its tourist offers, we will present what to do and how to do in order to achieve the business goals, which will result in an increase in the number of guests in the destination and the extension of the tourist season. Through the business plan of the island of Krk, its supply and demand, prices, clients, competition, vision and mission of the island of Krk are being presented. The plan ends with a brief review of the topics discussed, while the summery of the paper gives a clear conclusion of all the presented topics.
