Abstract | U ovom završnom radu govorit će se o sve većem globalnom problemu, trgovini ljudima i kršenju ljudskih prava.
Abstract (english) | In this final work, there will be talk of an increasingly global problem, human trafficking beings and breach of human rights. Human trafficking is one of the most biggest forms of crime on a global scale, a lucrative job on a black market which brings great earnings to merchants. Human trafficking comes in many forms, such as trading for the purpose of slavery, prostitution, child pornography, begging, forcible work, or for the purpose of organ removal. People who are victims of trafficking are suffering from severe psychological and physical consequences.
In many cultures the victims are isolated from the community and often accused that they are guilty of what has happened to them, they have difficulty in intimate relationships with their partner, leading to major problems if they are not honest with their partner and haven't shared with them a traumatic experience. Trafficking victims are often exposed to physical abuse just like severe physical injuries that are not adequately medically rehabilitated, physical exhaustion, and starvation.
Typical injuries to such victims are bone fractures, burns, stinging wounds, and often sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, AIDS, chlamydia or unwanted pregnancies and intentional or unintentional abortions. Such persons, if they do not receive adequate and professional help from the community and family, are often prone to suicidal thoughts. |
