Abstract Predmet ovog diplomskog rada naslova Kultura ponašanja i protokol u poslovanju je slika profesije zaposlenika, poslovnih odnosa, protokola, te rezultata određene organizacije. Profesionalno ponašanje i poslovna komunikacija predstavlja konsensualno prihvaćen sustav pravila ponašanja u poslovnim i protokolarnim situacijama.
Abstract (english) The subject of this thesis paper Culture of Behavior and Business Protocol is a picture of the profession of employees, business relations, protocols, and the results of a particular organization. The aim of this paper is to define and deepen the understanding of the culture of behavior and protocols in business at the global level as well as to analyze the similarities and differences in the culture of behavior and protocols in business between regions at the global level. Professional conduct and business communication are a consensually accepted system of rules of conduct in business and protocol situations. For the purposes of writing the paper, domestic and foreign professional literature, scientific papers, publications, published articles and regulations dealing with the culture of behavior and business protocols with an emphasis on doing business in an international environment are used. The research is conducted by the method of analysis, and a descriptive method is used, as well as a comparative analysis and a case study method.
A good knowledge of business etiquette, today in the context of global business, is more important than ever before. There is no set of rules that apply to the whole world and all countries, so it is necessary to thoroughly research the customs, culture of behavior and etiquette for each country with which we do business. After the analysis, it can be concluded that poor business communication and ignorance of etiquette can permanently disrupt business relations, especially when it comes to doing business with countries that have completely different understandings of cultural behavior and etiquette. Business people who hope to make a profit from their travels around the world should get to know the history, culture and customs of the country they want to visit and from which they expect business cooperation.
