Abstract
U radu je prikazan razvoj naftne industrije u posljednjih 40-ak godina i posljedično, povećane potrošnje fosilnih goriva. Obzirom da prerada i potrošnja nafte te naftni derivati uzrokuju pojavu nusprodukata, odnosno otpadnih tvari koji se emitiraju u zrak, tlo i vodu, opisan je njihov štetan utjecaj na okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. Također, navedeni su i opisani zakonski propisi, pravilnici i regulative na nacionalnoj i međunarodnoj razini koji se odnose na poboljšanje proizvodnih procesa i smanjenje negativnog utjecaja na okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. U konačnici, navedene su preporuke i prijedlozi za efikasnu preradu nafte, odnosno za smanjenje navedenih negativnih učinaka prerade nafte uz ekonomsku održivost cijelog procesa.
Abstract (english)
The paper shows the development of the oil industry in the last 40 years and, consequently, the increased consumption of fossil fuels. Given that the processing and consumption of oil and oil derivatives cause the appearance of by-products, i.e. waste substances that are emitted into the air, soil and water, their harmful impact on the environment and human health is described. Also, the legal regulations, rules and regulations at the national and international level related to the improvement of production processes and the reduction of negative impact on the environment and human health are listed and described. Finally, recommendations and suggestions for efficient oil processing, i.e. for reducing the mentioned negative effects of oil processing along with the economic sustainability of the entire process, are listed.
