Abstract
U ovom radu opisuju se arhivi, vrste arhiva, razvoj koncepta arhiva i njihova djelatnost. Zaštita i očuvanje arhivskog gradiva jedna je od najznačajnijih djelatnosti. Digitalizacija arhivskog gradiva donijela je velike promjene u rad arhiva i njihovih djelatnika i približila arhive svakome te ih integrirala u novo moderno društvo.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we describe the archives, archive types, developing the concept of archives and their activities. Protection and conservation of archives is one of the most important activities. The digitization of archives has brought major changes in the work of archives and their employees and close archives everyone, integrating into a new modern society .
