Abstract Društveni marketing se može definirati kao primjena marketinga u procesu realizacije društvenih ciljeva koji se ne bazira prvenstveno na dobit, već na zadovoljenje potreba koje imaju općedruštveni ili pak socijalni karakter. Uvažavanje marketinške koncepcije i njegova odgovarajuća primjena pospješuje djelovanje svih organizacija i lakše postizanje ciljeva. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati kako se marketing primjenjuje u neprofitnim organizacijama, sa naglaskom na udruge. Sloboda udruživanja i djelovanje udruga građana od presudnog je značenja za razvoj u javnosti. Volonterski rad udruga građana u mnogim područjima djelovanja je vrlo efikasno i uz mala uložena sredstva često može riješiti mnoge lokalne probleme. Nadalje, u radu se upoznaje i sa ostalim oblicima i ulogama neprofitnih organizacija, odnosno sa ustanovama i zakladama, te načinom prikupljanja sredstava za iste. Također je prikazan i kratak osvrt na sličnosti i razlike između profitnog i neprofitnog sektora. Primjena marketinških strategija prikazuje se na primjeru Udruge Oppidum, udruge koja se bavi educiranjem mladih, okupljanjem i kreativnim druženjem s mladima, organiziranjem kulturnih događaja, informiranjem i savjetovanjem te poticanjem humanitarnog rada. Provedenom anketom Zadovoljstvo i interes korisnika usluga Udruge Oppidum analiziraju se brojni dobiveni podatci. U konačnici, uz vidljivi prostor za napredak udruge, rad se završava preporukama za daljnji rad.
Abstract (english) Social marketing can be defined as an application of marketing in the process of realization social goals which is not primarily based on profit, but satisfying the needs of a general or social character. Appreciating marketing concept and its proper application enhances the activity of all organizations and makes it easier to achieve goals. The goal of this paper is to present how marketing is used in non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on associations. Freedom of joining and the activity of citizen associations are crucial for public development. Volunteer work of citizen associations in many fields of activity is very efficient and often can solve many local problems with small amounts of funds. Furthermore, the paper introduces us to other forms and roles of non-profit organizations, institutions and foundations, and also the way of their fundraising. There is also a brief overview of similarities and differences between profit and non-profit sector. The application of marketing strategies is shown on the example of the Oppidum Association, association witch deals with youth education, gathering and creative companionship with youth, organizing cultural events, informing, consulting and promoting humanitarian work. Based on the survey Satisfaction and interest of Oppidum Association service users numerous obtained data are analyzed. Finaly, with noticeable area for improvement of the association, paper ends with recommendations for further work.
