Abstract
Maslina i proizvodi od maslina su u suvremenom ţivotu sinonim zdravog načina prehrane i modernog ţivljenja. Maslina je poljoprivredna kultura koja ne zahtijeva previše brige i uglavnom daje kvalitetan i količinski značajan plod. Ovisno o vrstama uzgoja plod moţe biti kvalitetniji i količinski ga moţe biti više u jednoj vrsti u odnosu na drugu, ali nije nuţno. Sve više se znanstvenici bave istraţivanjima o kvaliteti proizvoda od masline, te njihovom utjecaju na zdravlje čovjeka. Sve više se maslina koristi i u neprehrambene svrhe, pogotovo u kozmetici. Mediteranski način prehrane sve više se primjenjuje u zemljama cijelog svijeta, a pridodaje se vaţnost i promociji ove vrste proizvoda. U ovom radu opisano je značenje masline u prehrani čovjeka, ali i svakodnevnom korištenju u neprehrani. Na kraju je opisan mediteranski način prehrane s prikazom piramide mediteranske dijete koja svoju popularnost doţivljava tek posljednjih 10 godina.
Abstract (english)
Olive and olive products are a synonym of healthy eating habits and modern living in modern life. Olive is an agrarian culture that does not require too much concern and mainly produces quality and quantity of significant fruit. Depending on the type of breeding, the fruit may be of higher quality and quantity can be more in one species than the other, but it is not necessary. Scientists are increasingly investigating the quality of olive products and their impact on human health. More and more olive oil is used for non-food purposes, especially in cosmetics. The Mediterranean diet is increasingly being applied in countries around the world, and the importance and promotion of this type of product is added. This paper describes the meaning of olive in the diet of humans, as well as everyday use in the nursery. At the end, the Mediterranean diet is depicted, showing the Pyramid of a Mediterranean child who has been experiencing its popularity for the past 10 years.
