Communal activities include the provision of utility services that are of interest to individuals and legal entities, as well as financing the construction and maintenance of facilities and equipment of communal infrastructure. The utilities sector is definedby the Municipal economy act and is governed by its own basic principles. Out of the subjects who can perform communal activities, we have describedlimited liability companies in detail, and as an example of such company we have namedGradski parking doo, founded by the city of Sibenik. Since the Companies Act recognizes several types of companies, it is necessary to describe in some detail the articles of thisAct relating to limited liability companies, such as the aforementioned Gradski parking. Furthermore, we dealt with the establishment and activities of the Gradski parkingfrom foundation in 2001. until today. We have listed the most important features and operations of the company, key investments, such as buying a bus Station in June 2003 and the establishment of a new department for vehicle reallocation in 2009.Also, in 2012 Gradski parking assumed the public transport in coastal passenger transportationon the line 501 Brodarica - Krapanj. We stated vision and mission of the company, as well as plans for the development of enterprise in the future.Like every company that does business in a conditions of market economy, which is engaged in communal activities, it is in the interest of Gradski parking to be a leading provider in the field of transport, either by road, or by sea. Future plans include the introduction of a survey in order to improve communication with the customers who use services of this company, and thus increase the level of service, given that the Gradski parking is a public company which was established for the benefit of the town of Sibenik and all its citizens.
