Abstract
Turizam je vrlo kompleksna djelatnost koja uključuje brojne druge gospodarske grane kako bi sama mogla funkcionirati. Uspješnost turističkih destinacija očituje se u mnogobrojnim faktorima, a kako bi se svaki od pojedinih razvio u pravom smjeru, potrebno je uložiti puno truda u razvitak turističke destinacije i proširenje ponude. Turističke manifestacije predstavljaju ponudu i svojevrsna su atrakcija koja donosi mnogobrojne pozitivne učinke na turističku destinaciju. Ovim se radom nastoje istražiti uloga turističkih manifestacija na povećanje turističke potražnje kroz primjer Ultra Europe Festivala koji se održava u Splitu te The Garden Festivala u Tisnom.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is a very complex activity that involves many other industries so that it can function on its own. The success of tourist destinations is manifested through many factors, and in order for each of them to develop in the right direction, it is necessary to invest a lot of effort in the development of the tourist destination and expanding the offer. Tourist events are a kind of attraction that brings many positive effects on the tourist destination and they need to be well managed. This paper seeks to explore the role of tourism events in increasing tourist demand and extending the season in a tourist destination through the example of the Ultra Europe Festival held in Split and The Garden Festival held in Tisno.
