Abstract
Turizam i promet predstavljaju dva međuovisna sustava. U moderno doba javlja se sve veća potreba za putovanjem zbog užitka. Glavna pretpostavka turizma je promet jer bez mogućnosti putovanja prijevoznim sredstvima i korištenjem prometne infrastrukture turizam kao djelatnost nebi bio moguć. Promet u turizmu omogućava svladavanje udaljenosti između emitivnog i receptivnog područja. Turizam postaje jedna od glavnih gospodarskih grana u pojedinim zemljama. Razvoj turizma uvjetuje modernizaciju prijevoznih sredstava i prometne infrastrukture koja sa sobom nosi i negativne posljedice na okoliš.
Abstract (english)
Tourism and transport are two interdependent systems. In modern times, there is a growing need to travel for pleasure. The main precondition of tourism is transport, because without the possibility of traveling by means of transport and using transport infrastructure, tourism as an activity would not be possible. Traffic in tourism enables overcoming the distance between the emitting and receptive areas. Tourism is becoming one of the main economic branches in some countries. The development of tourism requires the modernization of means of transport and transport infrastructure, which brings with it negative consequences for the environment.
