Abstract
Jedan od važnijih čimbenika koji utječu na rast potražnje su zaštićena područja koja svojom prirodnom ljepotom i izvornošću privlači mnogobrojne posjetitelje. Ogroman potencijal postoji u prirodnim resursima odnosno nacionalnim parkovima i parkovima prirode koji osim što utječu na rast potražnje mogu dugoročno utjecati na razvoj turističkih destinacija ali i cijelih regija koje se nalaze u njihovoj blizini. U ovom radu naglasak je na ulozi nacionalnih parkova na povećanje potražnje i razvoj destinacija kroz primjere Nacionalnog parka Krka i Nacionalnog parka Plitvička jezera.
Abstract (english)
One of the most important factors influencing the growth of demand are protected areas that attract many visitors with their natural beauty and originality. There is a huge potential in natural resources, in national parks and nature parks which, in addition to affecting the growth of demand, can have a long-term impact on the development of tourist destinations and the entire region located in their vicinity. In this paper, the emphasis is on the roles of national parks in increasing demand and development destinations through the examples of the Krka National Park and the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
