Abstract
PandemijaCovid-19 je ostavila značajne posljedice na turizam, a samim time i na hotelsku industriju jer su putovanja gostiju u jednoj fazi potpuno prekinuta. U fazi otvaranja granica 2020. godine početkom lipnja je počela potražnja za turističkim putovanjima, ali u manjoj mjeri. Neki hoteli su uz pomoć državnih potpora uspjeli održati svoje poslovanje, dok su neki zatvoreni još uvijek. Pandemija Covid-19 i provedena ograničenja putovanja zajedno s redukcijom socijalnih kontakata imalo je snažan negativni utjecaj na hotelijerstvo i ugostiteljstvo. Svi dionici u industriji ujedinjeni su u pokušajima da bolje razumiju utjecaj krize i pronađu nova inovativna rješenja i poslovne modele koje treba primijeniti kako bi se omogućili uvjeti za poslovnu aktivnost i očuvanje radnih mjesta te u konačnici ublažio negativni utjecaj na poslovanje. Cilj završnog rada je prikazati posljedice covid-19 na hotelsku industriju u RH.
Abstract (english)
The Covid-19 pandemic has had significant consequences for tourism, and thus for the hotel industry, as guest travel was completely disrupted at one stage. In the 2020 border opening phase, demand for tourist travel began in early June, but to a lesser extent. Some hotels have managed to maintain their business with the help of state aid, while some are still closed. The Covid-19 pandemic and implemented travel restrictions along with the reduction of social contacts had a strong negative impact on the hotel and hospitality industry. All stakeholders in the industry are united in their efforts to better understand the impact of the crisis and find new innovative solutions and business models to be applied to enable the conditions for business activity and job preservation and ultimately mitigate the negative impact on business. The aim of the final paper is to present the consequences of Covid-19 on the hotel industry in the Republic of Croatia.
