Road intersections are places on the road network where two or more roads are connected by intersecting, merging or diverging into traffic flows. Intersections must meet the requirements for the flow, safety and visibility of traffic that takes place in it. They are divided into level intersections, off-level intersections and roundabouts. Level intersections are the most in use because they are the simplest and financially easiest to realize. Imotski region is located in the Dalmatian hinterland and stretches from Cista Velika all the way to the border crossings Vinjani Gornji and Vinjani Donji. The state road D60 passes through the Imotski area, where there are a large number of road intersections, of which this paper describes the roundabout in Lovreć, the Kamenmost intersection, the intersection near Vukadinović, the intersection near Venecija and the intersection of the state road D60 and Bruno Bušić Street. The City of Imotski, in cooperation with the County Roads, regularly works on improving and planning the development of roads and intersections, in order to increase safety and traffic flow.
