Abstract
Monetarna i fiskalna politika predstavljaju temeljne elemente makroekonomije. Kao glavni instrumenti ekonomske vlasti u ostvarivanju boljih gospodarskih uvjeta, često su na meti brojnih ekonomskih kritičara. Od obje ekonomske politike se očekuje da savjesno i etično provode svoje mjere u vidu ostvarivanja boljih uvjeta za građanstvo. Danas se smatra da fiskalna politika koju vodi Vlada Republike Hrvatske, ima vodeću ulogu u ostvarivanju gospodarskog razvoja, stoga je često na udaru brojnim kritikama javnosti. S druge strane, monetarnoj politici se ne pridaje toliko pažnje. Primarni cilj Hrvatske narodne banke koja provodi monetarnu politiku je održavanje stabilnost cijena i čuvanje tečaja nacionalne valute, s tim da je također odgovorna za određivanje količine novca u opticaju, kamatnih stopa i brigu o inflaciji. Rad se sastoji od teoretskih dijelova navedenih ekonomskih politika, kao i od potrebe međusobnog djelovanja istih i to na slučaju hrvatske ekonomije, čija interakcija predstavlja temeljni preduvjet za postizanje gospodarskog rasta.
Abstract (english)
Monetary and fiscal policy are essential elements of macroeconomic policy. As the main instruments of government in supporting better economic conditions, are often the target of numerous economic critics. From both economic policy is expected to scrupulously and ethical implement their policies in the form of achieving better conditions for citizenship. The fiscal policy, led by the Croatian Government, plays a leading role in achieving economic development, therefore it is often attacked by numerous public criticism. On the other hand, monetary policy is not given so much attention in public. The primary objective of the Croatian national bank, which conducts monetary policy is to maintain price stability and keeping the exchange rate of the national currency, but it is also responsible for determining the amount of money in circulation, interest rates and concern about inflation. The work is consisting of theoretical parts of the above economic policies, as well as the needs of the interactions between them in the case of the Croatian economy, whose interaction is a fundamental prerequisite for achieving economic growth.
