Abstract
Rad započinje uvodom te općenitim osvrtom na sam nastanak i razvitak države koja je postala globalna velesila u svijetu. Nastavno se vezujemo na stvaranje te utjecaj političkih stranki i vođa koji su krojili ne samo sudbinu Amerike, već i ostalih država. Prikazane su razlike između dvije najjače političke stranke te njihove borbe za vlast kroz održavanje izbora i kampanji. Istaknuti su najbitniji događaji s kojima se Amerika suočavala te kako su se i kako se i danas odražavaju na budućnost same države i cijelog svijeta. U zadnjem dijelu obuhvaćeni su trenutno aktualni izbori koji izazivaju veliku pažnju zbog visoke važnosti i različitih stajališta gdje nikad nisu viđene podjele između stanovništva kao sad.
Abstract (english)
The paper begins with an introduction and a general overview of the origins and development of the state that has become a global superpower. It then discusses the creation and influence of political parties and leaders who shaped not only the destiny of America but also that of other countries. The differences between the two strongest political parties and their struggle for power through elections and campaigns are examined. The paper also reflects on the most significant events America has faced and how these events continue to impact the future of both the country and the world. The final section covers the current elections, which are attracting considerable attention due to their importance and the diverse viewpoints they have sparked, revealing unprecedented divisions within the population.
