This paper defines the notion of modern entrepreneurship, globalization and global economy. It explains how the globalization came about, what the role of international business and multinational companies in global economy is, what is the function of management in multinational companies, how to acquire knowledge and do innovation and stay at the global market. It analyzes types of globalism, international market and international exchange, key abilities of companies in global economy, indicators of successfulness of business and companies’ international business strategy. Theoretical analysis has shown that the very core of entrepreneurial behavior lies in recognition of opportunities and implementation of ideas and that economic globalization offers a wide range of possibilities to companies worldwide. Spreading of global economy, i.e. the development of information and communication technologies has created a unique outlook on the business world. It also goes to show that the role of multinational companies is very significant for development of international business and that companies which possess knowledge and the ability of rapid and permanent innovation can survive at the international market.
