In this final paper, an analysis of life insurance has been elaborated with a special emphasis on "Croatia" insurance. In the theoretical part of the work, the general definition of insurance is defined and the functions and elements of insurance are described. Life insurance and nonlife insurance are also presented. The continuation of the theoretical part is based on defining the concept of life insurance, its , role, significance, and specificity. In the research part, an analysis of the life insurance market was performed on the example of the Croatian insurance company "Croatia" osiguranje dd. The elements analyzed in this paper are: the total assets of the company and the comparison of the company's assets with the insurance market in the Republic of Croatia, the gross written premium of the company and the comparison of the gross premiumed gross premium of the company in relation to the life insurance market in the Republic of Croatia. Additional elements by which this insurance company has been analyzed are: the company's core capital and a comparison of the company's core capital with the insurance market in the Republic of Croatia, the company's guarantee capital and financial indicators.
