Abstract (english) This work demonstrates motivation through employee management in companies as well as on the basis of a practical example of a company. Motivation as an important indicator that directs, maintains and motivates employees for the purpose of desirable and generally acceptable behavior within the organization. Motivation theory: Maslow's theory of motivation, Herzberg's twofactor theory of motivation, Theory X and Y, and McClleland's theory of motivation are also presented, as well as modern motivational theories, that is theory of equality, self-efficacy, cognitive evaluation, goal setting theory and expectation theory are also presented. Theories have a purpose based on observing the traits of employees to find the right approach in the relationship of managers to employees, in order to achieve satisfaction and employee productivity, resulting in a successful enterprise. Motivation anticipates most of human behavior, behavioral reflection and work performance, because if employees are not motivated, there is no prospect of long-term success, and it also creates stress that also negatively affects motivation and can have serious consequences for the entire organization. Awarding is the most important motivational factor that leads to employee satisfaction through work, and the organization that is best known for successful leadership is DM (Drogerie Markt).
