Abstract
Ovaj rad obrađuje ekonomske aspekte privatizacije javnih i komunalnih usluga, odnosno onih usluga koje uobičajeno pružaju municipalne jedinice poput gradova i naselja. Temeljem provedenog istraživanja, utvrđeno je da proces privatizacije komunalnih usluga nije pridonio povećanju kvalitete usluge, zadovoljstvu korisnika kao ni smanjenju cijene usluge, već naprotiv. Ovakvi učinci privatizacije kao rezultat imali su pojavu suprotnoga procesa koji se naziva rekomunalizacija.
Abstract (english)
This work analyzes economic aspects of the privatization of public and municipal services, i.e. services typically provided by the municipalities such as cities and towns. Based on research, it has been found that privatization process of the municipal services did not contribute to the quality of service, customer satisfaction and price reduction, but contrary. These effects of privatization have resulted in reverse process called recommunalization.
