Starting from the point of view that the most common means of travel for international and regional exchanges of youth that encourage the development of tourism from the perspective of new cultural and social values, the topic of this paper is focused on the city of Zagreb as a tourist destination for young people. After getting acquainted with the objectives of the research and defining the hypothesis, the second part of the paper points to the importance of tourism in the world and in Croatia as well as the need for marketing science that focuses on a specific tourist destination. The city of Zagreb has become an attractive tourist destination that is continually growing, therefore, the third and fourth part analyze the offer of the city as a tourist destination and its characteristic tourist attractions. The aim of this paper is to explore the elements of the quality of Zagreb, and how to manage that quality of a tourist destination, describe the existing offer and get acquainted with the habits, attitudes and problems when it comes to our tourism through questionnaires that were carried out in hostels and apartments in Zagreb. The fact that Zagreb has become a popular destination for young people is very much confirmed through our research. Throughout the research, it was proven that the city of Zagreb is gaining more and more young tourist interest. The analysis of the problem has presented solutions for improvement and adaption of the existing tourist offer for the youth. Methods of scientific research that were used in this study are the method of analysis, comparison, classification, synthesis, and statistical methods.
