Business communication is an important part of the daily business operations. Without communication, the company would not be able to do business. Directors, leaders and other workers need to communicate in order to lead their business to profit by means of their ideas and capabilities. Communication is also important in the negotiations. The way in which partners, suppliers or customers are influenced by the other side is an important factor in successfully concluding negotiations. While negotiating, it can be established that non-verbal communication is equally, if not more important, than verbal communication. The fact is that non-verbal communication can reveal a lot about the speaker through facial expressions, body posture, acting in different situations, ways of dressing, and other non-verbal communication factors. Precisely these factors can reveal different attitudes of the speaker, his satisfaction or dissatisfaction, attitudes towards specific topics, which the other party can use to their advantage in the negotiations, if they are skilled at reading these non-verbal clues. This paper deals with negotiation, non-verbal communication and what it means.
