Abstract
Incidencija pojave neuroloških bolesti raste sukladno s dobi ljudskog života i pojave čimbenika rizika kod osoba. Osobe starije životne dobi su najrizičnije kod pojave neuroloških bolesti poput Alzheimerove i Parkinsonove bolesti, moždanog udara. Osim ovih bolesti visoka je vjerojatnost prisutnosti ostalih komorbiditeta kod starijih uz navedene neurološke bolesti što zajedno otežava svakodnevno funkcioniranje bolesnika. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati specifičnosti fizioterapije kod gerijatrijskih neuroloških bolesti točnije gore navedenih bolesti – Mb. Parkinson, moždani udar te Alzheimerova bolest. Fizioterapijski proces kod neuroloških bolesnika se oslanja na bolesniku orijentiran pristup u kojem je bolesnik središte cijelog procesa te se prema njegovim potrebama i mogućnostima pružaju fizioterapijske usluge. Potrebno je daljnje detaljnjije istraživanje o samim neurološkim bolestima i njohvoj rehabilitaciji.
