Abstract
Područje kojim se ovaj rad bavi je igrifikacija kao suvremena metoda odabira ljudskih potencijala. S obzirom da je općenito o korištenju igrifikacije izvan neigrajućih konteksta, a tako i o njenom korištenju pri upravljanju ljudskim potencijalima pisano malo, a pogotovo na hrvatskom jeziku, diplomski rad je teorijske prirode. Svrha rada je sumiranje i sistematiziranje dosadašnjih spoznaja u navedenom području. Cilj rada je prikazati trenutnu razinu primjene igrifikacije kao suvremene metode odabira ljudskih potencijala te njezin potencijal i očekivanja za budućnost. Također, igrifikaciju prikazuje kao novu metodu odabira zaposlenika koja se razvila u skladu s razvojem IT industrije. Rad pokazuje da postoje organizacije koje su prepoznale potrebu za promjenom procesa odabira fokusiranog na novu generaciju zaposlenika odraslu u digitalnome svijetu. Konačno, rad ukazuje da ova metoda ima jednu od najvećih prediktivnih valjanosti za kvalitetu obavljanja budućeg posla.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is gamification, a modern approach to human resource selection. Since little has been written about the use of gamification outside of non-gaming contexts in general, and also about its use in human resource management, in particular in the Croatian language, the thesis is theoretical in nature. The purpose of the paper is to summarize and systematize the current knowledge in this field. The aim of the paper is to show the present level of application of gamification as a modern method of human resource selection and its potential and expectations for the future. It also showcases gamification as a new method of employee selection that has evolved in line with the development of the IT industry. The paper shows that there are organizations that have recognized the need to change the selection process focused on a new generation of employees who have grown up in the digital world. Finally, the paper indicates that this method has one of the highest predictive validity for the quality of future performance in the workplace.
