The way of doing business today is very different from ten or more years ago. A key role in this change is played by technology, that is, its development itself. The development of technology has enabled business to become portable, faster and more dynamic. In order for companies to ensure competitiveness on the market, constant adaptation and monitoring of business trends is necessary. Therefore, it is very important that the company monitors its own operations in order to be able to timely introduce the required changes regarding the improvement of the business process. The real estate market is very sensitive to applications due to the numerous factors that affect the market itself. Due to its variability, i.e. the factors that influence it, the real estate market requires careful planning and analysis regarding the accuracy and reliability of real estate valuation. As a result of the improvement of this business process, there is a reduction in the costs and time required for the preparation of the estimate, as well as a higher quality and more precise preparation of the same. In this work, the business process of improving the preparation of studies for the purpose of real estate evaluation will be presented. The improvement of the business process will be shown using the BPMN diagram in the Bizagi process model creation tool. The application of technological innovations, process automation, improvement of methodologies and practices would lead to an improvement in the efficiency and productivity of real estate appraisal itself. As in any business process, there are various obstacles and potential challenges in this one that limit the possibility for improvement and introduction of changes in the existing business process. A detailed analysis of the existing business process, and noticing the shortcomings of the current business process, opens up new opportunities for improving the current situation. The aim of this paper is to look at the current model of the business process of creating an elaboration of possibilities and opportunities for improvement. In order for the company to ensure better competitiveness on the market, as well as a faster, better and more accurate assessment of the value of real estate.
