Abstract
Sportska događanja imaju svoj ekonomski, društveni, teološki, politički, sociološki i turistički aspekt. Ona predstavljaju specifičan segment gospodarske aktivnosti koji donosi koristi gradu, promotoru, poduzetnicama i lokalnim trgovinama. U suvremenom svijetu došlo je do promjena navika turista u putovanjima. Naime, turisti više ne putuju isključivo na turističke atraktivne lokacije, već turisti teže za aktivnim odmorom, zabavom te sportskim doživljajima. Organizacija sportskog događanja privlači veliki broj gledatelja i interes medija, pomaže u stvaranju nacionalnog identiteta te je važna za turističku privlačnost zemlje. Ovaj diplomski rad analizira proces organizacije sportskih događanja, njezinu definiciju, elemente, učinke, dionike te povezanost između sportskih događanja i razvoja turizma na razini destinacije. Također, objašnjava specifičnost organizacije sportskih događanja povezanih s nogometom na primjeru Građanskog nogometnog kluba Dinamo Zagreb. Empirijsko istraživanje rada provedeno je putem metode intervjua gdje je ispitano postojanje suradnje između Turističke zajednice grada Zagreba i GNK Dinama Zagreba. Provedenim istraživanjem primjetan je porast turističkog prometa u Zagrebu u mjesecima održavanja utakmica Građanskog nogometnog kluba Dinamo Zagreb u sklopu natjecanja Lige prvaka.
Abstract (english)
Sports events have their economic, social, theological, political, sociological and tourism aspects. Sports events in tourism are a specific segment of economic activity, which brings benefits to the city, promoters, entrepreneurs and local shops. In the modern world, there have been changes in the habits of tourists in travel, as they no longer travel only to attractive tourist locations, but tourists strive for active holidays, entertainment and sports experiences. The organization of a sporting event attracts a large number of spectators and the interest of the media, helps to create a national identity and is important for the tourist attraction of the country. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the organization of sporting events, its definition, elements, effects, stakeholders and the relationship between sporting events and tourism development at the destination level. Also, the specifics of the organization of sports events related to football is explained on the example of the GNK Dinamo Zagreb. Empirical part of the thesis was conducted through the method of interviews where the existence of cooperation between the Zagreb Tourist Board and GNK Dinamo Zagreb was examined. The conducted research shows an increase in tourist traffic in Zagreb in the months of the matches of the GNK Dinamo Zagreb as part of the Champions League competition.
