Abstract Pojam poduzetništva poznat je od davnina, a poduzetnička aktivnost vidljiva je još iz doba
početka trgovine, mjenjačkih poslova i putovanja. Budući da se poduzetništvu sve više
pridaje na značaju te je od strateške važnosti u oblikovanju gospodarskog razvoja, sve je
više istraživača za ovo područje. Na temelju brojnih istraživanja, većina se složila oko
glavnih osobina koje poduzetnika razlikuju od ostalih, a to su: inovativnost,
samouvjerenost, razumno preuzimanje rizika, uporan rad, odgovornost, postavljanje
ciljeva. Sve je više programa koji nude mladim ljudima mogućnost prekvalifikacije ili
dodatnog usavršavanja u području poduzetništva. “Erasmus za mlade poduzetnike” je
program koji omogućuje poduzetnicima rad u drugoj državi koja je zemlja članica
Europske unije kod iskusnog poduzetnika u trajanju od 1 do 6 mjeseci. Program je
djelomično financiran od strane EU. U Hrvatskoj se poduzetnicima uz državne potpore u
obliku novčanih naknada nudi sustav potpornih institucija koje im uveliku olakšavaju
buduće poslovanje u njihovim počecima. U sklopu rada provedeno je istraživanje
spremnosti srednjoškolaca na uključivanje u poduzetništvo. S obzirom da se učenici već
kroz srednju školu susreću s poduzetništvom kroz predmete usko vezane uz to područje i
stječu znanja koja im kasnije mogu pomoći u ostvarenju ciljeva htjelo se istražiti imaju li
srednjoškolci interes da postanu poduzetnici, koliko im poduzetništvo kao predmet pomaže
u razvijanju poduzetničkih vještina, jesu li učenici zainteresirani za poduzetništvo u obliku
dodatne izvannastavne aktivnosti. Anketa je bila provedena online u suradnji s
Ekonomskom školom Šibenik, a ispitani su učenici prvog, trećeg i četvrtog razreda. Podaci
su prikupljeni kroz jednokratno opisno istraživanje na uzorku od 127 ispitanika. Provedeno
istraživanje pokazalo je da su učenici zainteresirani nakon završetka svog obrazovanja
pokrenuti samostalno poslovanje odnosno pokazuju interes postati poduzetnici. Obrazovni
sustav i poduzetničko okruženje utječu na sklonost prema poduzetništvu. Konačno, učenici
srednje ekonomske škole Šibenik smatraju da im škola pruža dobru podlogu za ulazak u
poduzetništvo.
Abstract (english) The concept of entrepreneurship has been known since ancient times, and entrepreneurial
activity has been evident since the beginning of trade, currency exchange transactions
and travel. As entrepreneurship is increasingly attached to importance and is of strategic
importance in shaping economic development, there are more and more researchers in
this field.
Based on many surveys, most agreed on the main characteristics that distinguish entrepre
neurs from others, namely: innovation, self-confidence, reasonable risktaking, persistent work, accountability, setting goals.
There are more and more programmes that offer young people the possibility of
retraining or additional training in the field of entrepreneurship. “Erasmus for young
entrepreneurs” is a programme enabling entrepreneurs to work in another country which
is a Member State of the European Union with an experienced undertaking lasting 1 to 6
months.
The programme is partly financed by the EU. In Croatia, with state aid in the form of
monetary benefits, companies are offered a system of support institutions that greatly
facilitate their future operations in their beginnings.
The paper investigates the willingness of high school students to participate in
entrepreneurship. Since students already encounter entrepreneurship through secondary
school through subjects closely related to the area and acquire knowledge that can later
help them achieve their goals, we wanted to examine whether high school students have
an interest in becoming entrepreneurs, how much entrepreneurship helps them develop
entrepreneurial skills, whether pupils are interested in entrepreneurship in the form of add
itional extracurricular activities.
The survey was conducted online in cooperation with Sibenik school of Economics and
pupils of first, third and fourth grades were examined. The data were collected through
a one-time descriptive survey on a sample of 127 respondents.
The research has shown that students are interested in starting their business
independently after completing their education, i.e. show an interest in becoming
entrepreneurs.
