The main goal of this research was to evaluate the quantitative and qualitative effects of the application of individualized program for stimulating sensory integration based on anassessment of sensory processing in children with neural risk. According to the results of the initial evaluation, which was carried out by using the System for assessment of sensory integration (Viola, 2002 .; translation and adaptation Fulgosi-Masnjak et al., 2004), individualized program for stimulating sensory integration was developped. Program was conducted for three months, after which a final evaluation was conducted. Quantitative analysis of data obtained by comparing the initial and final results, confirmed the hypothesis that the IPPSI will have a positive effect on boy's sensory processing, which improved his proprioceptive, vestibular and auditory modulation. At the same time frequency and intensity of disregulation states reduced. The qualitative part of the research was based on the interview with the boy's mother. This research about indicators of the quality of individualized program for stimulating sensory integration, from the perspective of boy's mother that was actively participating in the imlementation of individualized program for stimulating sensory integration, indicated the following important guidelines: adequate therapeutic approach, positive experiences of parents, the applicable instructions of professionals, useful information and knowledge, and access to experts, as the essential preconditions for the successof IPPSI. Based on the research findings, there are further recommendations for improving the quality of individualized programs for stimulating sensory integration: the parents' involvement in the implementation of IPPSI, parents learn about ways in which they can help their child in the disregulation condition, the instructions of experts should be applicable for parents, the involvement of parents in the immediate work of experts with the child, parental counseling for activities that can be conductedat home, family involvement and the participation of institutions in which the child resides for the implementation of IPPSI.
