Abstract
Korištenje metoda semantičke segmentacije omogućuje robotima bolje razumijevanje okoline te omogućuje obavljanje složenih zadatka. U ovom radu implementirana je semantička segmentacija na robotskoj platformi Scout Mini kako bi se omogućila potraga za predmetima u prostoru. Implementacija algoritma za semantičku segmentaciju izvedena je primjenom biblioteke Detectron2 u ROS okruženju. U radu su analizirane mogućnosti primjene semantičke segmentacije u mobilnoj robotici, izazovi implementacije kao i točnost implementirane metode.
Abstract (english)
The use of semantic segmentation methods enables robots to gain a deeper understanding of their environment and perform complex tasks. This thesis examines the implementation of semantic segmentation on the Scout Mini robotic platform to enable object detection and localization in space. The algorithm implementation was carried out using the Detectron2 library in the ROS environment. The potential applications of semantic segmentation in mobile robotics, implementation challenges, and the accuracy of the employed method were analyzed.
