Abstract
Sinkroni motor s unutrašnjim permanentnim magnetima (engl. Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, skraćeno IPMSM, odnosno IPM) zbog visokog nivoa efikasnosti, visoke gustoće momenta i snage pogodan je za primjenu u pogonima električnih automobila. Pritom se koriste magneti rijetkih zemalja (engl. Rare Earth Magnet), poglavito neodimij-željezo-bor magneti. Alternativni izbor ovoj vrsti motora je permanentnim magnetima potpomognuti sinkroni reluktantni motor (engl. Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor, skraćeno PMaSynRM) sa feritnim magnetima. U ovom se radu projektiraju obje vrste motora, podvrgavaju jednakoj metodi optimizacije te se uspoređuju performanse optimalnih konfiguracija. Za realizaciju IPM motora odabrane su I, V i D topologije, a za realizaciju PMaSynRM motora odabrana je UUI topologija. Korištenjem softverskog alata koji za analizu koristi metodu konačnih elemenata (engl. Finite Element Analysis, skraćeno FEA) obavio se dizajn i izračun početnih konfiguracija. Korištenjem softverskog alata zasnovanog na proširenom algoritmu optimizacije mravlje kolonije (engl. Extended Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm) za svaku od odabranih topologija obavljene su po tri optimizacije: s ciljem maksimizacije omjera momenta i cijene, omjera momenta i mase te efikasnosti. Svaka iteracija optimizacije sastoji se od pripreme ulaznih parametara, izvršavanja izračuna te vraćanja vrijednosti funkcija cilja i funkcija ograničenja alatu za optimizaciju. Optimizacija se nastavlja dok se ne izvrši zadani broj iteracija. Sve konfiguracije ispunjavaju inicijalno postavljene zahtjeve elektromotornog pogona. Usporedbom rezultata utvrdile su se pogodnosti konkretne vrste motora i njegove topologije s obzirom na zahtjeve u performansama.
Abstract (english)
Due to its high level of efficiency, high torque density, and power, the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors are suitable for use in electric car drives. They utilise rare earth magnets, mainly neodymium-iron-boron magnets. An alternative choice to this type of motor in electric car drives are the Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motors with ferrite magnets. In this thesis, both types of motors are designed, both are subjected to the same optimisation methods, and the performances of the resulting configurations are compared. I, V and D topologies were chosen for the implementation of the IPM motor, and the UUI topology was chosen for the PMaSynRM motor. Using a software tool based on Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the design and calculation of the initial configurations have been performed. Using the software optimisation tool based on the Extended Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm for each of the chosen topologies, three optimisations are performed: optimisation with the objective of maximising torque to price ratio, torque to mass ratio, and efficiency. Every optimisation iteration consists of input parameter preparation, calculation execution, and objective and constraint function values that are returned to the optimisation software. The optimisation continues until a given number of iterations are performed. All configurations fulfil the initial set of requirements for the electric car drive. Results are compared, and the suitability of the motor type and its specific topology is determined with respect to the requirements.
