Abstract
Analiza poslovnih procesa je relativno nova grana u području računarstva, koja vremenom postaje sve značajnija jer se njezinom primjenom proces može značajno unaprijediti, pogotovo u aspektu cijene i vremena izvođenja. Algoritam razvijen u ovome radu otkriva ponavljajuće sekvence događaja, koje su najčešće "uska grla" poslovnih procesa. Supstitucijom ponavljajuće sekvence događaja jednim novim događajem (ili sekvencom novih događaja koja je jednostavnija od polazne), proces se može značajno ubrzati. Primjeri sa apstrahiranim događajima pokazuju kako je algoritam primjenjiv na svakom poslovnom procesu.
Abstract (english)
Business process analysis (process mining) is a relatively new discipline in the field of computer science. The discipline is becoming more and more important lately, because business processes can be improved with it, especially in the aspects of price and runtime. The algorithm developed in this thesis detects repeating sequences of events, which are usually bottlenecks of the process. By supstituting repeating sequences of events with one event (or with another sequence that is shorter than the initial one), the process's runtime can get improved. Examples given in this thesis work with abstract events, which shows that the algorithm can be applied on any business process.
