Abstract
Ovaj rad daje pregled tehnika dubinske pretrage podataka s posebnim osvrtom na mogućnosti njihove primjene u sustavima poslovne inteligencije, sustavima upravljanja odnosima s korisnicima te telekomunikacijskim sustavima. Namjera rada je bila prezentirati različite tehnike dubinske pretrage podataka s aspekta cilja koji se s njima želi postići. U radu je opisan cijeli proces modeliranja podataka koji prati dubinsku pretragu podataka. Na studijskom primjeru opisan je cjelovit proces modeliranja podataka korištenjem tehnikama deskriptivnog modeliranja te vizualizacijskim tehnikama. Na kraju su prezentirani rezultati modeliranja nad stvarnim podacima dobivenim iz velikog sustava.
Abstract (english)
This thesis gives an overview of data mining techniques with special emphasis on the possibilities of their usage in Business Intelligence Systems, Customer Relationship Management Systems and Telecommunications. The intention was to present different data mining techniques from the perspective of the goals wanted to be achieved by their usage. The whole process of data modelling that comes with data mining is also described. The case study describes the process of data modelling using techniques of descriptive modelling and visualization on real data gathered from telecom operator.
