Abstract
Autonomna vozila (AV) moderni su koncept cestovnih vozila koja imaju mogućnost opažanja okoline te mogu voziti s malo ili ni malo ljudskog utjecaja. Komunikacijske mreže u AV te okolna infrastruktura jako su važni za razumijevanje ključnih ugradbenih ploča za upravljanje koje navode vozilo. Danas proizvođači automobila preferiraju Ethernet, LIN, CAN and V2X komunikaciju. Upravljačke ugrađene ploče variraju u računalnoj snazi, cijeni, energetskoj učinkovitosti, oslanjanju na senzore i/ili infrastrukturu i korištenju umjetne inteligencije. AV generiraju i koriste ogromnu količinu informacija koja se ne može pohraniti na hardveru, već na određenim paradigmama informacijske tehnologije kao što su računarstvo u oblaku i rubno računarstvo. Neki od najpoznatijih proizvođača autonomnih vozila su: Tesla, Uber, Waymo, Toyota, General Motors itd. Glavni motivi iza AV su sigurniji i efikasniji promet.
Abstract (english)
Autonomous vehicles (AV) are modern concept of road vehicles which can sense it's environment and drive with little or no human effort. Communication networks in AV and surrounding infrastructure are very important for understanding how key embedded control modules operate and guide the vehicle. Nowadays, car manufacturers prefer Ethernet, LIN, CAN and V2X communication. Control modules vary in their computing power, cost, energy efficiency, reliance on sensors or/and infrastructure and whether they use artificial intelligence or not. Autonomous vehicles generate and use a lot of data which can't be stored on a hardware but rather in IT paradigms such as cloud computing and edge computing. Some of the most popular AV manufacturers are: Tesla, Uber, Waymo, Toyota, General Motors etc. The main motives behind AV are safer roads and more efficient traffic.
