Abstract
U radu se analizira uloga učitelja u konvencionalnoj školi i Montessori pedagogiji. Kako je prikazano u radu, velike su razlike između konvencionalne nastave i nastave koja se održava u alternativnim školama, odnosno Montessori školi. Razlog tome je zasigurno i uloga učitelja. Zanimljivo da i suvremena nastava i Montessori pedagogija promoviraju učitelja kao inicijatora i usmjerivača nastavnog procesa, a nastava mora biti usmjerena na učenika u kojoj je on aktivan sudionik nastavnog procesa, a ne samo slušatelj. Ipak, iako u teorijskom smislu postoje zamjetljive sličnosti u poimanju učitelja u suvremenoj školi i Montessori pedagogiji, u praktičnoj nastavi zbog bitno drugačijeg načina strukturiranja nastavnog procesa između navedenih pedgoških koncepcija postoje još uvijek značajne razlike. Kako bi se poboljšao nastavni proces u konvencionalnim školama i učitelj mora biti osposobljen za nove načine rada, koristiti nove metode u nastavi, pokazati svoju kreativnost u učionici, ali i izvan nje.
Abstract (english)
The paper analyzes the role of teachers in conventional schools and Montessori pedagogy. As shown in the work, there are significant differences between conventional teaching and learning that takes place in alternative schools or Montessori school. The reason for this is surely the role of a teacher. It is interesting that the modern education and Montessori pedagogy promote teachers as initiators and routers of the teaching process and teaching must be directed to students in which he is an active participant in the educational process, and not hearers only. However, although theoretically there are noticeable similarities in the perception of the teacher in a modern school and Montessori pedagogy, in the practical teaching of the essentially different ways of structuring the learning process between the above pedagogy concepts are still significant differences. In order to improve the teaching process in conventional schools and teacher must be qualified for new ways of working, using new methods of teaching, to show their creativity in the classroom, but also outside of it.
