Abstract
Nakon teorijskog uvoda u kojem se obrađuju ključni pojmovi argumentacije te kratkoga pregleda poučavanja retorike i argumentacije u hrvatskim srednjim školama, opisuju se osobine srednjoškolskih učenika te ključnih faktora učenja. Analiziraju se metodičke preporuke i smjernice za učenje argumentacije u srednjoškolskoj dobi te samo poučavanje argumentacije u hrvatskim srednjim školama. Podrobnija analiza posvećuje se nastavnim programima retorike u koprivničkoj Gimnaziji Fran Galović te u Privatnoj gimnaziji i strukovnoj školi Svijet, kao i dva nastavna programa za učenike početne i napredne razine učenja govorništva XVIII. gimnaziji. Na temelju analize nastavnih programa utvrđuju se ključni pozitivni elementi i uočavaju neki nedostaci te se donose preporuke kojima bi se moglo unaprijediti poučavanje argumentacije u srednjim školama.
Abstract (english)
Following the theoretical introduction which tackles the key concepts of the argumentation theory with a brief overview of the rhetorical education of argumentation in Croatian high schools, the thesis describes the main characteristics of high school students and their key learning habits. Methodological recommendations and guidelines for argumentation learning in high schools, as well as the teaching of argumentation in Croatian high schools, are analyzed. A detailed analysis is devoted to the rhetoric curriculums of “Fran Galović” gymnasium in the city of Koprivnica and private gymnasium and vocational school “Svijet” in the city of Zagreb, as well as the two curriculums for beginner and advanced level students of rhetorics in Zagreb’s XVIII gymnasium. Based on the analysis, the thesis identifies key advantages and disadvantages, followed by recommendations that can improve the teaching of argumentation in high schools.
