Technology is a very important subsystem of the school system (Silov, 2000). Technology has become extremely important nowadays because of its rapid development, becoming the center of human life. Everything that affects people's lives also affects education. Today, technology is used in every subject, but mostly in computer science classes. With the help of the media, it is much easier to teach with a student oriented and skills oriented approach. Also, technology helps us to realize the perspective of the modernity of the teaching process and the perspective of students. The teaching of computer science is of great importance to primary school students and imposes itself as a necessity. Computer literacy is necessary so that the student can fulfill his daily duties in school and life, and later in employment. In addition to knowledge of computer work, nowadays it is important to develop logical algorithmic thinking that is best practiced by programming. Learning programming is no longer as difficult and demanding as it used to be because there are various methods and tools that can help you learn. One of the tools is a BBC micro: bit device. With the help of the device, students will achieve the goals required by the curriculum in an easier, simpler and more fun way.The goal of the empirical part of this research was to examine and identify the attitudes and opinions of primary school computer science teachers in Croatia on the implementation and use of programming tools in the form of BBC micro:bit devices. The research was conducted on a sample of a total of 94 primary school computer science teachers with the help of a questionnaire. The results of the research show a positive direction of teachers' attitudes towards the application of devices in the teaching process in order to achieve the outcomes set by the curriculum. Furthermore, computer science teachers of all ages find the device simple and convenient to use, even more so than other tools for learning programming. Finally, they agree that the BBC micro: bit device encourages creativity in students and teachers and states that it makes it easier for them to achieve the set goals in the teaching process.
