Abstract
Pedagoška koncepcija Marije Montessori u središte svog djelovanja stavlja dijete i sve njegove potrebe. Dijete koje uči koristeći sva svoja osjetila od odgajatelja traži da se u potpunosti posveti njegovim potrebama, pažnju usmjeri na njegove razvojne faze te oblikuje kvalitetno pripremljenu okolinu. S obzirom na to da je sama Marija Montessori započela svoje djelovanje u radu s djecom s teškoćama, njene su vježbe i Montessori pribor oblikovani tako da potiču razvoj djece s teškoćama u najvećoj mogućoj mjeri, njihovu samostalnost te samopouzdanje. Značajnu ulogu u tom procesu imaju Montessori odgajatelji te cjelokupni stručni tim odgojno-obrazovne ustanove koji imaju odgovornost prilagoditi odgojno-obrazovni proces svoj djeci, onoj urednog razvoja te djeci s teškoćama.
Abstract (english)
Maria Montessori's pedagogical conception puts the child and all his needs at the center of his work. A child who learns using all his senses asks the educator to pay full attention to his needs, pay attention to his developmental stages and shape a well-prepared environment. Since Maria Montessori herself began her work with children with disabilities, her exercises and Montessori accessories have been designed to encourage the development of children with disabilities to the greatest possible extent, their independence and self-confidence. Montessori educators and the entire professional team of the educational institution have a significant role in this process, as they have the responsibility to adapt the educational process to all children, those with orderly development and children with disabilities.
