Abstract
Strip se nastavnicima u hrvatskim srednjim školama nameće kao zanimljiv medij koji se na razne načine može vješto inkorporirati u nastavne sadržaje. Superherojski žanr jedan je od njegovih komercijalno najpopularnijih izdanaka koji je oduvijek sadržavao društvenu relevantnost, kako u sociopolitičkoj pozadini oblikovanja određenih junaka i serijala, tako i u samim pričama. Tema ovog diplomskog rada je analiza nekoliko društveno relevantnih superherojskih naslova i njihova primjena na kurikulume... More za srednjoškolske predmete Likovne umjetnosti i Sociologije, u cilju dokazivanja relevantnosti stripa kao medija u nastavi. Temeljna jedinica analize ovog rada je serijal X-Men koji se bavi mutantima, Marvelovom novom ljudskom vrstom koja trpi diskriminaciju u društvu. Analizom nekoliko naslova iz različitih desetljeća, proučavamo razvoj stripa i društveno angažiranih motiva koji se u njemu uvode, kao i jedinstvene koncepte koje su autori tijekom godina predstavljali. Teorijski dio služi kao temelj za konkretno uvođenje teme superherojskog stripa u nastavu Likovne umjetnosti i Sociologije, a ono je u radu zastupljeno analizom kurikuluma za oba predmeta i konkretnim zadacima koji mogu biti primjer, ali i inspiracija nastavnicima koji bi željeli uvesti takve teme u svoj nastavni sat. In Croatian high school system, comics can be used as an interesting medium that can be skilfully incorporated into the teaching environment in various ways. The superhero genre is one of its most commercially popular variations, which has always contained social relevance, both in the sociopolitical background of the creation of certain heroes and series, and in the stories themselves. The topic of this thesis is the analysis of several socially relevant superhero titles and their... More application to the curriculum for high school subjects of Visual Arts and Sociology, with the aim of proving the relevance of comics as a medium, but also of superhero comics as a possible tool in the Croatian educational system. The fundamental unit of analysis of this work is the X-Men series, which deals with mutants, Marvel's new human species that suffers discrimination in society. By analyzing several different titles from different decades, I study the development of comics and the socially engaged themes introduced in it, as well as the unique concepts that authors have presented over the years. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the introduction of superhero comic books in the subjects of Visual Arts and Sociology, which is represented by an analysis of the curriculum for both subjects and concrete tasks that can be used as an example, but also as an inspiration for teachers who would like to introduce such topics in their lessons.
