Abstract
Diplomskim radom obrađuje se koncept osobnog razvoja metodama tjelesno orijentirane psihoterapije u kontekstu komplementarne medicine. Nastojala sam istražiti doprinos terapijskog rada s tijelom koji se primjenjuje kroz program Osobnog razvoja, u IPD Centru u Zagrebu, na percepciju mentalnog zdravlja polaznika. Cilj je bio istražiti motive pohađanja, iskustva, doživljaje i promjene koje su prema mišljenjima polaznika nastupile u kvaliteti njihovog života po završetku programa OR-a, uz osvrt na eventualne prepreke i predrasude s kojima su se susretali u svojoj okolini. Istraživanje se provedeno metodom promatranju sa sudjelovanjem, intervjuima, koji predstavljaju srž rada i na temelju kojih je provedena kulturno-antropološka analiza, uz korištenje stručne literature i uključivanje vlastitih zapažanja i iskustava.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the influence of the concept of personal development based on body oriented psychotherapy methods in the context of complementary medicine on participants perception of mental health based on somatic work in IPD's Personal Development program. The goal was to research participants motives for attendance, their experiences and changes perceived in their quality of life after the Program, along with potencial obstacles and encountered prejudices in their surroundings. The research was conducted by method of participant observation and interviews, wich present the core of this paper and the basis for cultural-anthropological analysis, with additional use of scientific literature and personal observations and experiences.
