Abstract
Ne tako davno, žene su bile zadužene isključivo za porođaj i brigu o djeci i kućanstvu, ali žene 21. stoljeća odlučile su zauzeti svoje mjesto u svijetu i podići svijest društva kako bi ih smatrale jednako vrijednima i sposobnima istaknuti se u poslovnom svijetu, a ne samo kao na majke i kućanice. S emocionalnijim i komunikativnijim stilom vođenja, ženama se sve više pruža prilika da se istaknu na višim rukovodećim pozicijama. No, ono što se javlja kao problem su karijerne barijere koje se postavljaju pred njih, posebno kada se nađe u efektu „staklenog stropa.“
