Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je opisati mogućnosti primjene računalnih programa u planiranju prehrane. Objašnjena su osnovna načela i problemi planiranja prehrane te metoda rada plani-ranja prehrane primjenom računalne aplikacije NutriBase. Program je korišten za (i) planira-nje i analiziranje petodnevnog jelovnika od strane nutricioniste i (ii) analiziran je petodnevni jelovnik kojeg je predložio sam program NutriBase prema postavljenim ciljevima. Praćena je energetska vrijednost, odnos masti, proteina i ugljikohidrata, te unos dijetalnih vlakana, zasi-ćenih masti, kolesterola, vode, vitamina A, vitamina C, kalcija i željeza. Obje petodnevne ponude su analizirana (ponuda energije i nutrijenata) te su uspoređene međusobno i sa dnevnim preporukama. Osim toga, objašnjene su neke dodatne mogućnosti koje ova aplikacija pruža. Program ima niz prednosti i nedostataka, a ključno je istaknuti važnost nutricioniste u ocjeni dnevne ponude i njenoj prihvatljivosti za pojedinca i/ili skupinu.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to describe the application efficiency of computer pro-grams in meal planning. The work explains the basic principles and problems of the computer meal planning using software NutriBase. The program was used to (i) plan and analyse a five-day menu, created by the nutritionist, and (ii) analyse a five-day menu proposed by the program NutriBase. Determined values for energy, the ratio of fats, proteins and carbohy-drates, (% kcal) and dietary fibres, saturated fat, cholesterol, water, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron were analysed. Both, five-day offers (supply of energy and nutrients) were analysed and compared with each other and with daily recommendations. Beside that, some additional features that this application provides are explained. The program has numerous advantages and disadvantages, but it is crucial to emphasize the importance of educated nutri-tionists in assessing the daily menu offer and its acceptability for an individual and/or group.
