Abstract
Svrha ovog rada bila je identificirati Staphylococcus vrste izolirane iz uzoraka slavonskog kulena klasičnim mikrobiološkim i biokemijskim metodama. Bakterije Staphylococcus vrste dokazane su na Baird-Parker agaru (BP) kao crne kolonije s halo efektom. Sumnjive kolonije porasle na BP agaru dodatno su identificirane bojanjem po Gramu (gram pozitivni koki), katalaza testom (pozitivan) i koagulaza testom (negativan). Budući da postoje određena odstupanja u rezultatima dobivenih klasičnim mikrobiološkim metodama i biokemijskim testovima, biokemijskim API Staph V 4.1 testom nije dokazana bakterija Staphylococcus aureus, već S. xylosus, S. warneri, S. lentus i S. auricularis.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this study was to identify Staphylococcus species isolated from samples of „Slavonski kulen“ by classical microbiological and biochemical methods. Staphylococcus species were detected on Baird-Parker agar (BP) as black colonies with a halo effect. Suspicious colonies grown on BP agar were further identified by Gram staining (grampositive cocci), catalase test (positive) and coagulase test (negative). There are certain differences in the results obtained by classical microbiological methods and biochemical tests. API Staph biochemical test V 4.1 was not identified the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, but API biochemical tests proved the bacteria S. xylosus, S. warner, S. lentus and S. auricularis.
