Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje različite vrste farmaceutika te procese proizvodnje i kontrole pročišćene vode koja je iznimno bitan faktor u farmaceutskoj industriji. Njena kvaliteta posjeduje direktan utjecaj na sigurnost i učinkovitost farmaceutskih proizvoda. U radu se detaljno opisuju vrste farmaceutika i pročišćene vode iz različitih udruženja, tehnologije korištene za proizvodnju pročišćene vode te metode mjerenja ključnih parametara kao što su broj kolonija (engl. „colony forming units“, CFU), ukupan organski ugljik (engl. „total organic carbon“, TOC) i električna vodljivost. Analiziraju se standardi kvalitete i regulacije koji osiguravaju zadovoljavanje strogih zahtjeva farmaceutske industrije. Cilj rada bio je dati sveobuhvatan uvid u važnost pročišćene vode i njenog nadzora te razmotriti na koji su način međusobno ovisni mjereni parametri. Utvrđena je korelacija između vrijednosti CFU i TOC, dok između ostalih parametara korelacija je neznatna. Sama pročišćena voda mikrobiološki i kemijski bila je pripremljena po pravilnicima i odgovarala svim propisanim zahtjevima.
Abstract (english)
This thesis investigates various types of pharmaceuticals and processes involved in the production and control of purified water, which is a crucial factor in the pharmaceutical industry. It directly impacts the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The thesis provides a detailed description of different types of pharmaceuticals and purified water, technologies used for its production and methods for measuring key parameters such as colony-forming units (CFU), total organic carbon (TOC) and conductivity. Thesis discusses the quality standards and regulations that ensure compliance with the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical industry. The aim of this thesis was to provide a comprehensive insight into the importance of purified water and its monitoring and to examine how the measured parameters are interdependent. A correlation between CFU and TOC values was established while the correlations between other parameters were negligible. Purified water was microbiologically and chemically properly prepared and met all prescribed requirements.
