Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno na 50 svinja crne slavonske pasmine. Svinje su bile uzgajane u ekstenzivnom sustavu te su zaklane u dobi od 18 do 20 mjeseci uz postignute završene težine od 135 do 150 kilograma. U zadnjoj fazi tova svinje su hranjene žirom. Nakon završetka razdoblja tova, svinje su otpremljene u komercijalnu klaonicu te zaklane gdje su određeni parametri polovica te kakvoća mesa. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali pozitivan utjecaj žira na klaonička svojstva te svojstva polovica.
Abstract (english)
Research was conducted on 50 Black Slavonian pigs. Pigs were kept under extensive keeping condition and slaughter at the age of 18 to 20 months with final weight from 135 kg to 150 kg. During the final fattening period, pigs were fed with acorn. After the fattening period, pigs were transported to the commercial abattoir and slaughtered, where carcass and meat quality traits were determined. Results of present study show positive effect of addition acorn in feeding on carcass and meat quality traits
