Abstract	Fitopatogene vrste koje imaju sposobnost akumulacije u namirnicama i zrnu žitarica svojih otrovnih produkata metabolizma odnosno mikotoksina su i rodovi Fusarium i Penicillium. Osim što mogu ozbiljno narušiti zdravlje ljudi i životinja, utječu i na smanjenje prinosa i prihoda za proizvođače. U in vivo istraživanju koje smo proveli ispitali smo antifungalnu djelotvornost bakterija mliječne kiseline s ciljem suzbijanja zaraze zrna soje sa F. verticillioides i P. chrysogenum. Provedenim istraživanjem utvrđeno je značajno smanjenje micelijskog rasta ovih plisni uz djelovanje rodova L. brevis i L. casei. Rezultati ovoga istraživanja ukazuju na mogućnost korištenja bakterija mliječne kiseline kao jedne od bioloških metoda zaštite usjeva u suzbijanju rasta fitopatogena koji dovode do značajnih gubitaka prinosa i rizik za zdravlje ljudi.
Abstract (english)	The genera Fusarium verticilioides and Penicillium chrysogenum are phytopathogenic species that have the ability to accumulate in food and cereal grains their toxic metabolic products or mycotoxins. In addition to seriously impairing human and animal health, they also reduce yields and incomes for producers. In an in vivo study, we examined the antifungal efficacy of lactic acid bacteria with the aim of controlling soybean infection with F. verticillioides and P. chrysogenum. The research revealed a significant reduction in the mycelial growth of these molds with the action of the genera L. brevis and L. casei. The results of this study confirm the possibility of using lactic acid bacteria as one of the biological methods of crop protection in preventing the growth of phytopathogens that cause significant yield losses and endanger human health
