Abstract | PIK Vinkovci je trenutno vodeći proizvođač luka na ovom prostoru. Vrhunska kvaliteta proizvoda i visoki prinosi, nisu oduvijek bili karakteristični za njihov uzgoj. U samim početcima proizvodnje, koja je započela 1995. godine, imali su loše prinose i nisku kvalitetu proizvoda. S vremenom, i usavršavanjem tehnologije proizvodnje luka, postigli su sadašnji uspjeh. Stalna njega usjeva, rješavanje i uništavanje štetnika, bolesti i korova, dovela je do boljeg uzgoja. Plodored je od izuzetne važnosti za uzgoj luka, a najbolje kulture za to su grah, krumpir, uljana repica, pšenica, ječam i djetelina. Razna mineralna gnojiva koriste se za gnojidbu. Rijeka Bosut, preko crpnog agregata kroz cjevovode, opskrbljuje luk dodatnom količinom vode, koju ne može primiti u prirodnim uvjetima. Osim hranjivih tvari, voda je jako bitna za razvoj luka, pa se koristi i imitacija kiše. Razlog visokih prinosa kvalitetnog luka ovog proizvođača je stalno usavršavanje i ulaganje u tehnologiju proizvodnje ove kulture. |
Abstract (english) | PIK Vinkovci is currently the leading producer of onion in this area. Top quality of the product and high yields have not always been a characteristic of their cultivation. In the very beginning of production, which began in 1995, they had poor yields and low product quality. Over time, and with the improvement of onion production technology, they have achieved their present succes. Constant crop care, tackling and destroying pests, diseases and weeds, has led to better cultivation. Crop rotation is extremely important for growing onions, and the best crops for this are beans, potatoes, oilseed rape, wheat, barley and clover. Various mineral fertilizers are used for fertilization. The Bosut River, through a pumping unit through pipelines, supplies the onion with an additional amount of water, which it cannot receive in natural conditions. In addition to nutrients, water is very important for the development of onion, so imitation of rain is also used. The reason for the high yields of quality onions from this producer is the constant improvement and investment in the production technology of this crop. |
